One Romania Mission
My mission is leading youth of all ages to KNOW, LOVE, and EXPERIENCE who God is through practical applications of scripture. I do this through lifestyle evangelism, discipleship, mentoring, teaching, and creative arts.
WHY ROMANIA?
In 2018, 26 years after my adoption into the US, God brought me back to Romania for a first-time visit. I was the first person ever to return to the orphanage after adoption.
Through this experience God lit a fire inside of me showing me that He needed me back in Romania. This began my journey of working with students, orphans, and impoverished kids. I realized how blessed I was to be a part of a loving, Christian familly with positive values for faith, family, and education. I now share these opportunities with them with the goal of helping them in becoming better and more confident individuals who discover God’s plan and purpose for their lives.
God has provided every step of the way and continues to show me that I’m right where He needs me.
Ministry Projects
Grace Christian School
I came along side one of Romania’s largest Christian private schools to help direct it’s after school program and shoot commercial video to grow the schools social media channels and brand image. In year two we doubled our after school program, and on social media we grew our channels by 20%.
Mondial City
A student ministry initiative in Lugoj’s poorest zone “Mondial”. Many of the homes have no running water so a lot of the people take showers at my church, The Bread of Life. After a new soccer terrain was built by the EU, I saw an opportunity for evangelizing the neighborhood kids through soccer.
Bashford Foundation
I have the blessing of volunteering at the Bashford Foundation, a christian foster care system managed by an American organization called Reach Romania. Their mission is providing Christian homes to Romania’s misplaced children. My role is mentorship, and being a liaision between the kids and house parents.

Financial Partnership
My position working at Grace Christian School in Lugoj covers most of my on ground expenses and provides access to healthcare as a dual-citizen. However in order to continue on ground ministry, I need coming along side to support financially.
I am now partnered with The Great Commision Alliance, a non-denominational Christian ministry that is committed to multiplying Christ-like multipliers until the Great Commission is completed.
This would include: Mondial Soccer Ministry, Youth Camps including registration and transportation, Monthly after church lunch-ins for neirborhood kids, meeting physical needs such as food or clothing, and food and beverage budget for bi-weekly youth meetings. The list could go on because the need is so great.
If you feel led to partner with me and join the ministry family, you can do so by donating through GCA and recieve a donations recipet at the end of the year which can be used when filing your annual taxes.
Instructions for giving through the GCA:
1) Click the donation button
2) Select “Support Our IAP Partners”
3) Under “designations” scroll down to the bottom of the list and find my name “Jake Mueller”
4) Once your donation amount is put in, select “donate”
5) At the end of the year, GCA will provide you a donations reciept which can be used when filing annual taxes.
Ministry Goals
SHORT TERM GOALS
– Establishing bi-weekly youth meetings with two differnt
groups, ages 10-12, and 13-16
– Starting a drum academy, hosted at Grace School
– Creating a semi-annual youth conference + workshop
focused around identity
Long Term Goals
– Lobby on a national level for the changing of Romanias adoption laws for fostered and orphaned children. Currently only Romanian citizens are allowed to adopt, which leaves too many that never receive a loving home.
If Romania opened their doors to international adoption, they would have almost no orphans due to the countries relatively small population compared to other countries.
– Partnering with pastors and local churches baptising 100
students who confess Christ as their lord and savior
