A MAN ON MISSION

My name is Bogdan Marian Jacob Stone Mueller, but most people call me Jake Stone. I am an ambassador of Christ disguised as a musician and creative professional. I was adopted from Romania when I was 2 years old and grew up in the US.

After 26 amazing years of lego building, soccer leauges, and playing music instruments, the Lord has called me to take a pause in my American life and move back to the homelands as a full-time, independent missionary working with students and orphanage children.

This didn't happen overnight! My first trip back was in 2018 where I felt the Spirit leading me back to Romanian to learn the language in hopes of becoming a translator and teaching the kids in the orphanages basic english.

Four years and seven trips later, I switched my base of opperaitons from the US and moved to Romania full time. After learning the language in six months while studying as an external student, I started the process of updating my dual citizneship which took almost 3 years due to the pandemic.

A CALL TO ROMANIA

Before I moved on August 4th, 2023, I accepted a job position working as a director of an after school program at
Grace Christian School in Lugoj Romania. Additonaly on the side, I'm working in student ministry and youth mentourship.

My overall goal with this RO Mission is creating a social integration project which helps orphaned and impoverished children thrive in society. I will accomplish This through taking small trips with differnet groups of kids to different locations throughout Romania. The vision is for them to feel empowered enough so when they graduate, they will be able to better function as members of soceity, as well as have had seeds of authentic faith planted in them.

NEAR FUTURE

Some of my near future projects include:

Partnering with community centres and private schools in developing after school care
Working with troubled youth
Training and empowering locals in social Integration projects

DISTANT FUTURE

Some of my near future projects include:

Advocating for policy changes to Romanian laws to allow for internaitonal addoptions.
